When It’s Needed Most

Jul 30, 2024

The COVID-19 pandemic reaffirmed the value of life insurance. America’s life insurers delivered a record $282.3 billion in life insurance benefits between 2020-2022 to families when they needed it most. And the number of new policies spiked to levels not seen in decades.

Still, only 52% of Americans have life insurance, and less than 1 in 3 Gen Z and millennial parents feel very knowledgeable about life insurance. I recently discussed how our industry is addressing these challenges with ACLI Chairman Paul Quaranto, the chairman, CEO and president of Boston Mutual in a Kitchen Table Conversation hosted by Protecting Every Future.
