Wayne Mehlman is Senior Counsel, Insurance Regulation at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). His primary responsibilities relate to receivership, guaranty association and corporate governance issues, as well as product standards. He joined ACLI in 2005.
Jim Szostek is Vice President & Deputy, Retirement Security at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). He helps guide ACLI policy on legislation and regulations affecting the U.S. retirement system. Prior to joining ACLI in 2008, he held positions at CIGNA and The Hartford.
John Mangan is Vice President & Deputy, State Relations at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). He is responsible for state legislative and regulatory affairs in California, Idaho, Indiana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. He also leads the ACLI’s state advocacy team on the issues of state-run retirement plans and independent contractor proposals.
